You will find a few Labour councillors in the Trade Union Club on Acton High Street (same side as the old Town Hall) heading towards Shepherds Bush) most nights of the week. If you are not a member, members of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) are allowed in as well Trade Union Club members. See the Acton Trade Union Club website for more setails. These worthy publically-accountable individuals are always delighted to have members of the local voting public to drop in on them in the spirit of openness and democracy. |
