| I have been phoned up legitimately by banks querying my activity. They act in the same way as a scammer in asking you to prove who you are. They should prove who they are. Having been done twice at Shell Garages in the area both times Nationwide phoned me after realising that after buying petrol I am not also in Bangalore or Mumbai using an ATM. So if a bank phones you just phone the bank on the number supplied on the card/staeement. Their own activities are making it more likely that you will suffer fraud. |
