It has an excuse for being unreliable - it's over 100 years old. There's a picture of an LGOC (London General Omnibus Company) route 65 at the southern end of St Mary's Road in the 19-0-0s (1909 I think) in one of the pictorial record books of Ealing. To improve reliability it might make sense to terminate the route at Kew Bridge in both directions (65 North Bank, 65 South Bank); but that's f...g* obvious, isn't it? Think E8 - EB to Brentford. And before anybody says; the Oyster fare could be conjoined between the two parts of the route. * frighteningly |
