| Ealing's dedicated dementia charity based in Windmill Road closes its doors for ever tomorrow. After serving relatives and sufferers for nigh on four decades, it will be no more. Having laboured along on it's own raising funds after our lovely council pulled the plug years ago. My late wife received their care as did I and our children at a time when none of us knew what to do next. The caring staff at the charity were an enormous help and kept me from sliding into a new and at times baffling state when I was unable to see where we went next. If any ex-employees read this, thank you on behalf of all the thousands of people you helped. God bless |
