| Congratulations - I wouldn't wish the alternative on my worst enemy. Sadly I wasn't so lucky. My Consultant was/is Professor Hashim Ahmed and for obvious reasons he has become one of my favourite men on this planet. Truly a master in his field. I don't know if this TRANSFORM campaign is the same as his Prostagram Campaign but they sound very much one and the same. I've really done much in my life that I'm proud of but raising the donation I did for this to get the trial going is up there as something I will pat myself on the back for. It still shocks me that this cancer is so prevalent yet there is still a lack of awareness or "ostrich management" amongst men in their 50's and above. Get yourself checked and do it regularly once you find yourself in that risk bracket (which isn't just once you hit 50 years old depending on circumstances!!!). Look after yourselves. |
