| Amazed to read,from multiple sources, that the average family throws away almost 20 pounds worth of food every week. Certainly not the case in our house where the only food that is the recycling caddy is vegetable peelings, banana skins, the odd well past its healthy date orange or the extra spoonful of mashed potato that nobody actually wanted. Stale bread makes croutons or puddings and wonky veg makes soup. |
