| Ealing council has announced in its latest budget that the cost of the garden waste collection service will be reduced from £98 to £75. Good news for those who use it, but strange when we were told two years ago that the cost had to rise and the service reduced because it was operating at a significant loss. Yet now the magic money tree means it can be subsidised again. I wonder if there’s an election on the way? |
