Given the high levels of rain this week, I drove back home through Ealing this lunchtime and was dismayed. Blocked drains and even more badly made/maintained roads made for a difficult drive. My local Liberals have made a claim that the Labour council have cut back on street cleaning, have mismanaged last year's leaf cleaning schedule and are to blame due to the cutting of the opening hours of our last remaining dump from 7 days to just 5!
My street has not been swept THIS YEAR and I am personally fed up with wading through kerbs full of slimy leaves that have been left to rot. It's the local elections next May, use your vote to remove Ealing Labour, not fit for purpose I'd suggest!
