| All Councils need to be abolished, most (all?!) are corrupt and/or grossly incompetent and/or lazy & don't give a toss and/or waste vast vats of money and/or are only interested in Political BS, sod actually providing efficient & effective Services. It's not for me to suggest what might replace them but we are all only too aware of the rampant corruption, waste, laziness, incompetence and politicising. As someone smarter than me has opined on here before, when a Council has a "Cabinet" they really are suffering delusions of grandeur. Oh, and have you seen the "calibre" of Councillor, most are rather "challenged" and wouldn't survive in the private sector. |
