| The Conservatives are toast in Ealing. The rout in 2022 was due to the inability of the local electorate to distinguish between local and national policies something that pervades local democracy. Why it is very likely that there will be yet another labour majority in 2026, less than a year away for the elections, one hopes that there will finally be some opposition to the totalitarian approach of this Council. It will be good to see our local councillors as we do every four years as it proves they can take their noses out of the trough long enough to at least campaign for votes. |
