| Well, better get on to your MP about that and perhaps get an equivocal answer from LBE about whether they support it or not. Mason was in favour before but very quiet now. Hounslow passed a motion on Tuesday opposing expansion. I’m well aware of the complexities of these things, going back to when I did my degree. Probably more aware of it than you would wish to believe. As for the UK leading the way on tackling climate change? Laughable, particularly when Ed Miliband is steering policy. Maybe a bold move like banning all non-essential flights is what’s needed. Will upset the holiday crowds and weekend getaway types but that would actually make a difference. |
