| Really good haberdashery on Hanwell Broadway along by the Post Office. I am honestly surprised that Daniels survived as long as it did given that after they moved from the large store they were left with basically a beds and bedding shop and a haberdashery and a chiropodist. Department stores are not the model currently for High Street retail and they have gone the way of Rowse's, John Sanders and Bentalls. Sad, but somehow inevitable. |
