It is not unreasonable for Eric to request more information give that wild rumours, most of which are contradictory and false, have been circulating since these tragic events. However, people should bear in mind that there are ongoing police inquiries and you definitely shouldn't share anything that you don't know to be 100% true. One additional point is that suicide is no longer generally considered to be a crime or a sin so it is not something you 'commit'. 'Died by suicide' is the form of words suggested by the Samaritans. |
