| Eric, I think the idea of empty roads means everyone can move more freely along them. As you say, there will be more residents and more people travelling around, so it makes sense to think carefully about what we want the roads to look like. We should already have be adding mobility vehicles and wheelchair users to the mix. We don’t need to wait until each of us is 95. The idea of asking what we want our roads to look like is precisely to plan ahead, but also for us to use our imagination, which is the reason for my post. |
