‘An asset is not an asset unless it is being utilised’. I don’t agree. Some assets are more valuable when they are not being used. Some are best when they’re not used. By definition, an asset is something that can be of value in the future. Obviously roads must be useful, but I would argue that there is a tipping point between their use being beneficial and detrimental (to society). It’s this tipping point, and how to stay on the right side of it, that I’m interested in. |
