The more one digs the murkier it gets. Have the elected councillors ever been able to ask about connections with the design consultancy? Is there any reference to a full and open Risk assessment to properties, and in the park itself? Was there any open consultation referring to developments and development enablement? No mention of the location of sites this actually enables. Why a public victorian park sold by the CofE on the premise of the stewardship of the Corporation of Ealing in perpetuity is being sacrificed as an enabler for overdensnse and speculative developments without open and honest intent being declared? Why the turgid response and attitude from some councillors and silence from others? Not to mention reluctance of officers to engage with those who pay their salaries. Really disgusting and something that underlines what can be got away with now we do not have a proper local paper with proper journalists on the case. We have sleepwalked into this. There should be a full enquiry. Top to bottom. |
