| I doubt your vision of ‘ideal roads’ is shared by any but a few extreme cycling lobbyists. Perhaps you ought to consider how our cities should look. Maybe less shoehorning increasing numbers of people into places where there isn’t the infrastructure to support them. That includes roads, which will have to be accessible to all. Of course, that’s a different discussion but no doubt you will eventually get round to it. Perhaps a start would be to have Dominik, Paul and Ben volunteer as lollipop people to help those vulnerable schoolchildren and old ladies across the road. King Street in Hammersmith might be a place to start, where crossing the road is a lottery when the cars stop but the cyclist don’t. |
