You’re asking exactly the same thing in a different way on other topics. Roads are needed for the transportation of goods & people. There are so many restrictions for drivers, foolhardy schemes - ltns, no right or left turn etc etc. The driver is a cash cow. People want & need cars. The cycling lobby want a blanket rule, more & more road space . If that’s the case then everything that applies to motorists, needs to apply to them. The hypocrisy of certain people knows no bounds. Loss in revenue trying to park & carry out work. Any scheme is designed to be detrimental to motorists. Boring rhetoric of too many cars doesn’t help. No one drives for fun, although certain people dictate that we do. Roads need to favour all users, unfortunately councils & the useless idiots at tfl- where every journey matters, are strongly biased against cars, trying to force us to use other means , which don’t suit us |
