Hang on a sec? What was the incident? Is this the one being reported on the front page of Ealing Today? If so, it states that a man has been charged. If it is just a case of when will this bloke appear in court, then I can share with you, but you probably already know anyway, that there is a massive - and I mean massive - backlog of court cases. So much so that someone can be held on remand for 2.5 years or longer before their case even comes to court. The justice system is a mess. 18% of the prison population (circa 89,000) are now being held on remand (approx 16,000) and 1 in 11 of those (approx 1,650) will be acquitted when their case comes to trial. Shocking. If the reference of boy racers and fatality is referring to something completely different then I have got no idea what it is. |
