| Unfortunately the blinkered and brainwashed electorate who shout but don't think or dare ask a pertinent question bring this on themselves. Councils are riddled with cohorts and cowtow to the dominants of parties, the blackmail like behaviour of The Mayor of London's controlled organisations which use funding as a lever never gets resisted or challenged and yet many Labour councillors all over West London know this and are far from happy but don't dare speak up. So we are stuck with the systemic overdeveloping, over densification and Mumbai or Tokyo way of life which suits no-one. Having lived in both and enjoyed each initially, it soon becomes claustrophobic and inescapable. |
