| I have complained before about contributors to the forum who have nothing to say about the topic to hand and indulge themselves by being abusive. We have another example in Ms Arbuthnot. She sanctimoniously abuses someone for disrespecting the murdered MP while herself using his death as a pretext for her abuse. Sir David Amess was liked for being able to engage in debate without acrimony and name calling, virtues lacking in Ms Arbuthnot. She is no better than the ill-natured individuals who write abusive emails to politicians. She is part of the problem. Is she seriously suggesting that because an MP has been murdered by an enemy of the state that all other public servants are immune from criticism? The topic was the new Leader of Ealing Council. Mr Farmer puts forward a case that Mr Mason is not to be trusted and refers to email evidence to support his opinion. From what he says, Mr Mason appears to be in breach of the council’s code of conduct for elected representatives. It is open to Mr Farmer to complain about him in the prescribed manner. I hope he will. |
