That's very interesting, Mr White. In the article it states that: If approved, ''Purrrlesque'', will take the space on the High Street vacated by LA Confidential which lost its licence last year following an investigation by the council’s licensing sub-committee panel. So is it possible, or indeed likely, that the aforementioned Mrs Shaikh was a member of the very Licensing Sub-Committe which made the decision to close the place, only for her and some chums to re-open it under a different name a few months later? Am I reading this situation correctly? Or was she absent when the decision was made? It'd be interesting to know! |
