I was trying to remember the name of ECIL where they may be able to put you in touch with someone/a group who can help you. Your Councillors also may be able to help as they may know organisations and in the past I have found Age UK a mine of knowledge with a great list of organisations that can help or find help for you. For instance they found someone from the British Legion who would help my blind and very elderly FIL find his way through a hospital to visit my MIL. He wouldn't take up this kind offer unfortunately - but the offer was there. (We used to go at weekends but he wanted to go more often.) |
